Xolo Q2000, Zync Cloud Z401, GPad-G3 (November 13),Weekly smartphone launches


New Delhi: The Indian smartphone market was abuzz with activities last week with lots of companies coming out with their new products in the markets in hope to garner some marketshare. Gionee has officially announced the launch its latest phablet, the GPad G3 priced at Rs. 9,999. The Gionee GPad G3 was listed in October this year on ecommerce website Snapdeal, and is currently available at a discounted price of Rs. 9,425.

In addition, Xolo came out with its latest quad-core phablet in India at Rs 14,999. Xolo's Q2000 smartphone was a welcome addition in the company’s Q smartphone series, which already includes six smartphones.

Here is a look at the top smartphone launches this week: 


GPad-G3

Gionee’s latest smartphone GPad-G3 features a 5.5-inch display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 512 MB of RAM.

It is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone with dual standby. The device features a 5.5-inch display with 480x854 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor, coupled with PowerVR SGX544 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The GPad G3 sports a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and also includes a VGA front-facing camera.



The GPad G3 bears 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It has a 2250 mAh battery that should be able to last a day. The phone will compete with models like the Intex i5 and Micromax Doodle.
